McLean Farms is currently looking for a reliable and practical person to join our Organic Nutrients team as a Water & Plant Operator. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and being part of an environmentally focused team.

About the Role
In this role, you’ll be involved in a variety of tasks to help keep the site running smoothly. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating the water truck to distribute water as needed across the site
- Watering windrows of raw material and recording applications
- Carrying out daily checks and routine maintenance on plant and machinery
- Operating front-end loaders, turning machines and screening equipment
- Loading product into trucks for dispatch
- Travelling to off-site locations when needed
- Collecting weekly site samples as required (e.g. moisture, temperature, porosity)
- General site upkeep including cleaning and maintaining tree lines and grassed areas
What We’re Looking For
- A current HR licence (required)
- Loader and forklift / telehandler tickets
- A valid Australian driver’s licence
- Previous machinery experience is an advantage
- Mechanical know-how and troubleshooting skills would be a bonus
- Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety
- A team mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
