About the role
Events and activities extraordinaire! This role creates memories, laughter and exciting fun to look forward to for our residents. Based in our Joondalup site this role maximises your creativity to coordinate a Lifestyle program from silent discos to unleashing the inner artist! You will partner with the care team to uncover interests and passions, then bring together amazing and meaningful events! This role leads our team and inspires volunteers to deliver your lifestyle program, you’ll help them create it, and they will deliver and host.
About you
You will be the type of person who lights up a room, can find out what makes people’s hearts sing and faces smile. You are natural leader who has a passion for being organised, endless creativity for developing a calendar of events, designing posters & promotional materials, and enthusiasm and motivation to bring new ideas to life! You’ll be wanting to make the world a better place starting with making someone’s day today! With care, compassion and a love of collaboration and a strong foundation of organisation skills, IT savvy, and great communication skills you will love motivating our team to deliver it for residents! Your key experience will include:
- Ideally experience in the aged care sector
- Strong organisation, coordination skills with good experience using MS Office, and ideally online platforms, apps, systems to drive great events
- Excellent time management and the important administration skills
- Passion, drive, creativity, enthusiasm to develop and maintain our lifestyle program
- Great leadership skills either formally or informally, you’ll be a natural leader that people are inspired by
- Compassion, patience and deep authentic respect for the life journey and stories of our residents
- Strong communication skills with a wide range of people
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
