About the Role:
- Construct wooden drape moulds, jigs, and thermoforming tools.
- Work with a wide range of materials: timber, fibreglass, acrylic, rubber, MDF, plastic sheeting, and fillers.
- Cut, shape, sand, and assemble materials using basic tools and woodworking equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings and templates to create accurate moulds and panels.
- Participate in vehicle prototype fitments (some travel may be required).
- Optional exposure to light steel fabrication and MIG welding (not essential).
Who We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience in boatbuilding, fibreglassing, woodworking, or a related trade.
- Confident using hand and power tools; machinery experience desirable.
- Patternmaking or lamination skills highly regarded.
- Practical mindset with strong attention to detail and a good eye for shape and finish.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a fast-paced team
