About this role:
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Office Manager will be an integral part of the Operations Team focused on managing the smooth operation of the SPM office and studio and improving operations business-wide. This role will be involved on a wide range of projects and tasks that intersect with all areas of the business to support staff in doing amazing work.
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the management of the SPM office space and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently
Work closely with the Head of Studio to ensure production spaces are run efficiently and are appropriately set up for filming and external clients
Work closely with the Head of Operations and be involved in operational and administrative projects and coordination to improve company operations and efficiency
Oversee administrative functions including office management, travel arrangements, procurement, information systems, scheduling, correspondence and documentation
Liaise with third parties and coordinate commercial contracts, vendor relationships and suppliers for services such as facilities management and equipment maintenance
Manage visitors to the office including coordinating meeting times, conference room bookings and set up, hosting requirements such as catering and drink orders, and studio/office tours
Ensure that working spaces are clean, stocked and appropriate for staff use
Manage company inventories including consumables, equipment and assets
Manage maintenance of office equipment and spaces
Ensure staff are complying by office policies and procedures including WHS requirements
Assist with maintaining office and administrative budgets, tracking expenses and processing payments and invoices
Write operational documentation and reports
Plan and execute internal company events and team-building activities to foster collaboration and engagement and be involved in other HR support as required
Other duties as required
Requirements
3+ years experience in administration or operations
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience managing an office highly regarded
Self-motivated and passionate about delivering excellence
Must have or willing to get first-aid and fire safety certification
