We currently have an exciting career opportunity at our Taringa dealership for a customer focused Foreman/Quality Controller who is passionate about our brand.
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure work is carried out within Mercedes-Benz guidelines and timelines
- Treating customer and company owned vehicles with the utmost care at all times;
- Conducting road/quality tests in a timely and efficient manner whilst ensuring that all faults are identified and documented on all relevant service documentation;
- Keeping accurate records of all completed road/quality tests and providing a weekly list to your Manager to review
- Maintaining effective channels of communication with staff and customers at all times and ensure that all forms of communication are done in a way which is complimentary to the Mercedes-Benz brand and image.
- Abiding by all OH&S policies and procedures in the workplace at all times;
- Ensuring a detailed knowledge of Mercedes-Benz products are maintained, including keeping up-to-date with all workshop technical literature and software.
To ensure success within this role you will have:
- A working knowledge of Mercedes-Benz products, preferably gained from a prestigious background dealership.
- The ability to make decisions in a pressured environment and to work within a safe manner
- The skills necessary to conduct final road/quality tests and to translate any outstanding issues to service documentation in a manner
- Completed a recognised mechanical or electrical trade qualification and possess a valid and up-to-date Drivers Licence.
- Exceptional attention to detail and be customer focused.
