Buslines Group is the largest bus operator in regional NSW with 13 operations throughout the state and a fleet of 350 buses. Tamworth Buslines operates a modern fleet of 36 buses in Tamworth and surrounding areas.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to step into a senior, hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for managing fleet maintenance and leading a skilled workshop team, overseeing servicing, repairs, parts procurement, maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with all Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
Our Tamworth operation boasts a modern, clean, and well-equipped maintenance facility, providing an excellent working environment for the right candidate.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to take on this responsibility with a remuneration package commensurate with the duties to be offered to the successful applicant.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with 5 years’ experience
- Current Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate (MVTC)
- Current Heavy vehicle driver’s licence
- Experience leading and supervising a workshop team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent time management, organisation and prioritization skills.
