The Opportunity:
The Youth Development Coach position is a valued asset and would be responsible for supporting young person to achieve the objectives of the program which are
- Work with young person to develop and identify independent living skills
- Role mode and assist clients to develop social and living skills and enable them to thrive
- Engage and support them in practical activities to ensure they independently plan budgets, meals etc
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a highly passionate professional who:
- Has sound communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and establish rapport with clients, staff and external agencies
- Has demonstrated understanding of appropriate responses to clients with trauma related behaviours that demonstrate high and complex needs
- Has ability to work in a team environment and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Has ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work independently
- Holds Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family interventions, Community Services, Youth Work or equivalent

You Will Need To:
- Complete our online application process
- Undergo pre-employment testing as part of the recruitment process which will include psychological assessments
- Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Hold a current Safe Environments Certificate
- Hold a current unencumbered Australian driver’s licence and be willing to drive
