Join our Logan Wellbeing Team as an Advanced Peer Support Worker and make a meaningful difference supporting carers and families in mental health recovery.
Provide recovery-oriented, person-centred peer support to carers, families, and significant others of mental health service consumers.
Share your lived experience to educate, advocate, and empower carers through individual and group support.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community organisations to enhance carer support services.
Facilitate psychoeducation programs, support groups, and contribute to service development and training.
About you:
We're looking for a compassionate and experienced peer worker who understands the journey of mental health caregiving and is passionate about supporting others.
Have personal lived experience as a carer for someone with mental health or substance use challenges.
Skilled communicator able to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of recovery principles and experience delivering peer-led education or support groups.
Commitment to professional boundaries, ongoing learning, and advocating for carers' voices.
