Location: Banksmeadow, NSW

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 AM – 11:00 AM

We are seeking a motivated and experienced AM Operations Supervisor to join our high-performing team at Banksmeadow . In this key leadership role, you'll oversee critical early-morning operations, ensuring that our freight flows smoothly, safely, and on time—every time.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead from the front, influence operational excellence, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and support a frontline team of dockhands and forklift operators in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure safety is the #1 priority through active leadership, toolbox talks, and daily assessments
  • Drive performance by managing labor, scheduling, and ensuring daily KPIs are met
  • Champion best practices in freight handling, scanning accuracy, and compliance
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including linehaul, PUD, and customer service teams
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across your shift
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and operational discipline
  • Manage pre-starts, absenteeism, and payroll approvals in line with business processes

About You

You’re a confident leader with a passion for operations and a proven ability to get the best out of your team. You thrive in early starts and love being hands-on, proactive, and solutions focused.

You’ll bring:

  • 1–2 years of frontline or shift leadership experience (transport or logistics preferred)
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of warehouse and/or freight operations
  • Familiarity with safety systems, risk management, and compliance
  • Computer literacy and ability to work with scanning/RF devices
  • Dangerous Goods awareness or willingness to obtain
