Job Description
This role will play a key part in evolving OUA’s analytics capability, creating a modern, intuitive, and self-service reporting experience. You will help create a seamless, consistent, and engaging reporting experience that empowers our partners and stakeholders to access the insights they need.
The focus is on rebuilding and enhancing our analytics platform so that it delivers greater access, consistency, and self-service. By leveraging modern data models, enriched metadata, and best-practice design, you will enable a beautiful user experience where people can easily interrogate the data, explore insights, and follow their curiosity with confidence.
- Lead the rebuild of OUA’s GoodData Cloud platform, ensuring it is future-ready for AI-enabled search and reporting.
- Work closely with the Data team to enrich and expand data models, including leveraging metadata across the data landscape to enable future AI capabilities.
- Design, develop, test and deploy reporting dashboards that empower stakeholders with accurate, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, validate outputs, and iterate on solutions through feedback and prototyping.
- Apply best-practice BI approaches, including automation of repeatable processes, documenting standards, and building scalable reporting frameworks.
Qualifications
A track record in BI, data engineering or development, with strong SQL skills
Proven experience implementing or rebuilding cloud-based BI platforms
Hands-on knowledge of AWS data tools (Redshift, Glue, AppFlow) and modern data stack (e.g. DBT)
Ability to design dimensional models and enrich metadata for scalable reporting and AI enablement
Strong analytical skills, able to uncover insights and present them clearly
Experience gathering requirements, translating them into solutions, and validating with stakeholders
