Provide patient support throughout the genetic testing process, including follow-up as required.
Coordinate and manage regular and specialist clinics in collaboration with the senior genetic counsellor.
Deliver genetic education and information to patients, families, and health professionals.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using TrakGene and other relevant systems.
Contribute to service evaluation through reporting and activity tracking.

Engage in research projects and present findings through publications or conferences as required.
About you:
Demonstrated experience in counselling individuals and families.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in both community and hospital settings.
High level of professionalism with a sound understanding of patient confidentiality, privacy, and ethical practice.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and genetic service software such as Progeny and TrakGene.
Commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice.
What we offer:
Structured orientation and ongoing mentorship from a senior genetic counsellor.
Access to monthly statewide cancer genetics meetings and counselling supervision.
Opportunities for research, education, and professional growth.
Support in progressing toward HGSA Part II Certification.
