We’re on the lookout for a passionate and proactive Associate P&C Business Partner to join our vibrant team on a 12-month maximum term contract (parental leave cover). In this role, you’ll partner closely with our leaders to support core business functions, champion strategic people initiatives, and help shape a culture that’s high-performing, inclusive, and energising. You’ll be instrumental in lifting employee engagement, delivering best-practice HR solutions, and navigating employee relations and change with confidence.
You’ll also work side-by-side with our Senior HR Business Partner, supporting key initiatives, managing overflow ER matters (including change and investigations), and being a trusted first point of contact for team leaders.

Part Time - 4 Days Per Week
Responsibilities:
- Supporting a small business unit with end-to-end HR initiatives, working with Senior Leaders and Line leaders to build and implement Human Resources solutions in line with business needs
- Providing recommendations and solutions covering multiple areas of Human Resources, employee development, communications, compensation, benefits, HRIS management, D&I, psychosocial/psychological safety, employee relations, organisational planning, organisational change management and/or other services.
- Providing interpretation and counsel to leaders regarding policies, programs and practices.
- Researching issues and developing solutions to resolve business issues, while considering organisational requirements.
- Supporting the development and implementation of new policies, practices and programs to meet organisational and business needs
- Bachelors (or similar) degree in Human Resource Management
- 2-3+ years in junior HR Business Partnering or Advisory role
- Solid consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Good knowledge of Human Resource organisational policies and practices.
- Tried and tested knowledge of Generalist Human Resources best practice.
- Relationship management and influencing skills.
- Understanding of the Australian employment law landscape
