Qualified Baker – Bakers Delight Springwood
- Ability to be available to work a flexible roster, which will include shifts from 4 AM to 12:00 PM
- This is a full-time position, offering approximately 38 hours per week.

Bakers Delight Springwood is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Baker to join the Bakery.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and production of quality bakery products as per BDH menu.
- Preparing, mixing, kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, and shaping dough and pastry goods according to recipes
- Preparing pastry fillings.
- Weighing flour and other ingredients required for baking products.
- Preparing dough and checking the quality of raw materials.
- Operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits, and other machines and tools used to prepare bakery products.
- Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of batches of bread, rolls, and pastry products
- Monitoring oven temperatures, proving, cooking, and cooling times, in addition to ensuring the appearance of items is consistent to determine baking times.
- Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of machines, tools, and premises, and abiding by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS and Food Safety.
- Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Emptying, cleaning, and greasing baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment.
To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria.
- Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 4am)
- Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff.

- Complete duties as directed by your manager/supervisor
- Abide by company policies and procedures at all times
Applicants with Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Baker or Certificate III in Baking will have advantage for this role.
