The Behaviour Support Practitioner exists to deliver high-quality service in the areas of behaviour assessment and interventions at Shrink & Co.

Shrink & Co. is a mental health and specialist behaviour solutions provider, specialising in psychology, psychiatry and behaviour support. Based in Gold Coast QLD and Tweed Heads NSW we have 2 active locations with a growing client base across both Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW.

Our Vision

We imagine a world where anyone can obtain mental health solutions by the right person, for the right problem, and at the right time.

Our Purpose

We exist to be a one-stop-shop of mental health solutions.

Shrink & Co. are a high performance, dynamic team with strong beliefs in high standards, leadership, teamwork, continuous improvement and getting the job done. We believe in creating value for our clients and their families, and we start by providing an exceptional client experience journey.

The Behaviour Support Practitioner is an integral part our Behaviour Insights Team (BIT) which is an interdisciplinary team tasked with managing clients with neurodiversity and intellectual disability. Instead of being a solo practitioner looking after a caseload, our Behaviour Insight Team is deployed as a team for each client that is involved.

The BIT exists within Shrink & Co.'s ecosystem of supports to ensure clients in need of behavioural based supports gain access to an entire team with the understanding that it takes multiple people with multiple skills to solve complex behavioural issues. The incumbent operates within the BIT under the BIT Team Leader and will deliver services collaboratively with the Lead Practitioner, or as a Lead Practitioner alongside the rest of the BIT.

This position would suit any allied health practitioner or graduate (including psychology graduates who are not on the 4+2 or 5+1 pathway) or anyone with a teaching/education background with a strong interest in neurodevelopmental conditions such as ASD, ADHD and ID. Ongoing training and professional development is provided alongside multidisciplinary supervisions and team-based approach.
