About Lives Lived Well

At Lives Lived Well, we’ve been supporting people whose lives are affected by alcohol and other drugs for over 50 years. We also support people with mental health and gambling concerns and those transitioning from correctional centres. We’re growing fast and building a reputation as a trusted, innovative provider focused on clinical excellence—and we’d love you to be part of it.

Your Opportunity

We’re looking for a Business Development and Tender Coordinator to join our team in a newly created role that supports the Head of External Relations. You’ll coordinate tender and grant submissions, manage stakeholder communications and contribute to strategic initiatives.

This is a full-time 12-month Maximum Term role based in Bowen Hills QLD with potential for extension. You’ll work closely with the Head of External Relations with the autonomy to shape the role, manage your day and make a meaningful impact. Hybrid working arrangements are available to support flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

As the Business Development and Tender Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in contributing to the organisation’s development and external engagement. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the tender and procurement inbox to identify relevant opportunities that align with our services and goals
  • Coordinating the preparation of high quality tender and grant submissions by gathering input from subject matter experts and ensuring consistency in language and formatting
  • Tracking deadlines and maintaining the tender and grant pipeline tracker to keep internal stakeholders informed and submissions on schedule
  • Liaising with external stakeholders such as government agencies, funding bodies and partners, and acting as a key contact for routine queries
  • Assisting with the drafting, formatting and proofreading of reports, presentations and briefing notes to support communications
  • Organising logistics and administrative needs for conferences, forums and engagement events
  • Using technology and AI tools to streamline submission processes and improve efficiency in document preparation and stakeholder management

Key Skills & Attributes

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be highly organised, proactive and confident working independently. We’re looking for someone who demonstrates:

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear documents and maintain high standards of presentation
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with confidence in managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • The ability to interpret complex tender documents and distil key information into actionable briefs
  • The ability to work autonomously in a stand-alone role, managing your day effectively and taking ownership to shape and grow the position
  • Business acumen and a curiosity for growth with an interest in contributing to innovation
  • Cultural awareness and inclusivity with a respectful and values-driven approach to stakeholder engagement

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in high-level administrative or tender coordination, ideally in the not-for-profit sector
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to pass a National Police History Check
  • Willingness to travel interstate/intrastate as required

Why Work for Lives Lived Well?

We’re a values-driven organisation that fosters collaboration, innovation, and wellbeing. You’ll be part of a supportive team where your voice matters and your work has real impact.

Benefits Include:

  • Five extra paid leave days per year to support your wellbeing
  • Hybrid working arrangements for greater flexibility
  • Salary packaging to increase your take-home pay
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family
  • Fitness Passport membership for discounted access to gyms and pools
