Position Overview
The Central Enablement Lead (CET Lead) serves as Chief of Staff to the Executive Director and is a pivotal strategic and operational leader within Vines Institute.
Operating under the strategic vision of the Executive Director, this is a phased leadership role beginning with a focus on client acquisition and talent recruitment and evolving into a core executive function that guides shared services, enables cross-functional alignment, and ensures smooth execution of strategic priorities.
Phase 1: Strategic Growth Driver (Months 0–6)
Purpose: Drive near-term growth across client acquisition, talent attraction, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement client acquisition strategies across digital, referral, and outreach channels
- Oversee marketing campaigns in collaboration with our external agency
- Coordinate talent acquisition aligned to Vines Therapy and Institute workforce plans
- Supervise a part-time Client Engagement Consultant
- Track KPIs for outreach, campaign effectiveness, and recruitment funnels
Phase 2: Strategic Integrator (Chief of Staff) – Beyond Month 6
Purpose: Lead Central Enablement as a shared services hub, manage operational rhythms, and support the ED in delivering strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Central Enablement Team (client, growth, and business enablement functions)
- Operationalise quarterly plans and institute-wide projects set by the Executive Director
- Manage internal rhythms: team standups, reporting cycles, and quarterly reviews
- Embed cultural rituals and communication systems
- Develop internal documentation, SOPs, and strategic dashboards
- Prepare for and support onboarding of future CET roles (e.g. Culture Lead, Growth Coordinator)
- Collaborate with clinical, research, program, and future venture teams to ensure cohesive delivery of shared services
Capabilities & Attributes
- Proven experience in startups, consulting, strategic operations, or cross-functional roles
- Strong communication, systems thinking, and stakeholder management
- Ability to operate between strategy, execution, and team leadership
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and trustworthiness
- Able to lead with humility and represent the ED’s vision with clarity and integrity

Desirable Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Health Administration, Strategic Communication, or related field (postgraduate desirable but not essential)
- 5+ years of cross-functional experience across:
- Strategic operations
- Growth, marketing, or outreach
- Talent acquisition or enablement
- Client journey/experience roles
- Systems or project management
- Competence in digital tools: marketing platforms, CRMs, project management systems, and Google Workspace
- Background in allied health, education, consulting, or mission-led organisations a plus

Long-Term Opportunity
This is a foundational leadership role with a clear pathway to expanded executive responsibilities across operations, growth, or enablement. As the Institute scales, the CET Lead may evolve into a Group Enablement Executive.
