What you'll be doing
The Clinical Nursing Unit Manager (C/NUM) is responsible for the operational management of community nursing services and co-ordination of client care under their delegation in consultation with NUM and Nurse Manager.
The C/NUM role is to:
Lead, direct and coordinate client care.
Ensure the delivery of high quality client care that is safe and efficient.
- Manage the unit effectively and within the budget allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Advance staff through professional development and enabling others.
- Accept accountability and responsibility for their own actions.

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current Registered Nurse division 1 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant clinical management and leadership experience and/or qualifications or willingness to complete.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing staff in a changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate resolutions and manage conflict.
- Demonstrated excellent and effective interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate clinical services and manage change.
- Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture, articulate and achieve a vision for Community Nursing services.
- Demonstrate ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training.
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and willingness to use for work purposes.
