Your next career opportunity
As a Clinical Trial Manager for the ACTION-MSonline project, you'll play a crucial role in evaluating an online depression intervention for individuals with multiple sclerosis. You'll gain invaluable experience in managing a randomized controlled trial, from ethics applications to data analysis. This role offers you the chance to directly impact mental health outcomes for MS patients while working with leading researchers in a supportive, academic environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage Clinical Trial Operations : Oversee trial procedures, participant recruitment, and data collection, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and project timelines.
  • Coordinate Stakeholder Communication : Liaise with neurologists, psychologists, and nurse coordinators to facilitate successful completion of clinical activities and project deliverables.
  • Support Research Documentation : Assist in preparing protocols, treatment manuals, ethics applications, and manuscripts for publication.
  • Analyse and Report Findings : Assist with statistical analyses, write up results, and contribute to the dissemination of research outcomes through publications and conferences.

You may be a great fit if:

You are a dedicated clinical psychologist with a PhD, possessing strong leadership skills and extensive experience in managing clinical trials, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.

You may also:

  • Hold a PhD in Psychology (Clinical Psychology preferred) and a Master of Clinical Psychology.
  • Have extensive experience in planning, conducting, and managing clinical research, including trials.
  • Possess strong leadership skills to oversee psychologists providing clinical assessments and interventions.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Have outstanding communication skills and the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Be proficient in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R) and project management tools.
