About the role
This position is a fixed-term, full-time role in the Community Development and Participation team, based from Moruya until 14 August 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and reporting on the Department of Social Services (DSS) project as a part of the Social Inclusion team.
The starting salary for this position is $3,253.08 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.

About you
Do you have extensive experience and a passion for working with families and children aged 0-8 years? We are looking for someone with experience in a leadership role who has demonstrated community consultation skills and the ability to effectively communicate and work with a wide range of stakeholders. In this position you will be able to put your relevant Diploma or Degree to good use. The successful candidate must also:
- Be physically able to sustain the physical requirements of a mobile playgroup.
- Have demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as working independently.
- Have well-developed organisational skills, including a demonstrated ability to manage priorities, activities or events and meet deadlines.
- Be experienced in preparing reports, media releases, project documentation and general correspondence.
- Possess substantial knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office products.
