Credit Strategy Automation Manager

The Business Credit Risk Strategy Centre of Excellence is responsible for developing automated credit strategies that provide the best lending experience for our customers, within risk appetite. We build credit strategies to support the automation of business lending, in-life processes and arrears management.
We use data, analytics, risk management practices and commercial acumen to build strategies that provide the best risk-reward outcome.
In this role
As a manager, you will be responsible for implementing and automating credit strategies for Business Lending products.
You will lead the end-to-end delivery of credit strategy changes in credit decisioning system and tactical processes, driving business optimisation while ensuring strong customer outcomes. You will automate credit strategy processes and controls to enable rapid test-and-learn cycles through tactical processes, user-developed tools, etc.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Credit Strategy Automation.
Some of the key responsibilities include
Manage end-to-end credit strategy changes in Experian One, such as changes to scorecard cutoff, serviceability parameters, etc.
Develop and implement data insights strategies that support business goals and objectives.
Collect, analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns and insights.
Oversee the design and implementation of data architecture, modelling and visualisation techniques.
Monitor technologies, techniques and processes for capturing business intelligence, adjusting business processes where applicable.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure data analytics solutions align with business goals.
Communicate technical insights and recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Manage projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
Ensure data used for analysis is accurate, complete and up to date.
Stay up to date with emerging trends in data analytics, data science, AI and technology and share findings with team.
May oversee a small team of analysts, providing guidance, mentoring and training to help improve their skill and achieve their goals.
We’re interested in hearing from people who
Have 3+ years in credit risk or similar experience (e.g. analytics)
Are proficient in data analytics tools eg: R/Python/SAS/SQL/Teradata, and MS Suite
Have proven ability to work with large data sets to implement complex credit strategies
Have ability to understand complex problems and take a structured approach to solve
Have experience in system change management and Knowledge of DevOps best Practices
Have experience in troubleshooting complex data/technical issues
Are able to communicate complex concepts into simplified messages for stakeholders
Are comfortable working independently with a sound problem-solving mindset
Preferred experience in Experian PowerCurve decisioning platform
