About the Role
Language for Life Speech Pathology Services is seeking a passionate and experienced Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) to join our expanding multidisciplinary team. This position starts with one day per week onsite at our Hoppers Crossing clinic, with the flexibility to increase days as your caseload grows.
In addition to clinic-based sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to provide mobile client visits across the western suburbs of Melbourne and deliver telehealth sessions to clients nationwide. We work with clients funded under NDIS, Medicare, WorkSafe Victoria, TAC, and private health insurance, giving you access to a diverse and rewarding caseload.

What We’re Looking For
You are someone who:
- Has a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualifying experience in clinical dietetics
- Is confident working with clients funded through NDIS, Medicare, WorkSafe, TAC, and private insurance
- Has strong clinical skills in managing a variety of nutritional concerns including disability-related issues, chronic conditions, and eating behaviours
- Values autonomy, flexibility, and a supportive team environment
- Is open to a hybrid work model including clinic, home visits, and telehealth
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and interventions
- Deliver services in the clinic, at client homes (Western suburbs), or via telehealth across Australia
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare providers to achieve positive health outcomes
- Accurately document clinical notes and manage time independently
- Build strong client relationships while supporting NDIS-related goals and reporting
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Nutrition & Dietetics
- Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualifying clinical experience
- ABN and appropriate insurances (Professional Indemnity & Public Liability)
- Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, and Driver’s Licence
