About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for two experienced Dieticians to join the team at Canberra Health Services.
Health Professional Level 3 – Dietitian – Eating Disorder Program
Eating Disorders Program is seeking a dynamic and experienced dietitian to undertake the role of dietitian. Under the limited direction of Allied Health Team manager, the clinician will undertake clinical/nutritional assessment, care planning and provide evidence-based intervention to children, young people and adults with an eating disorder diagnosis. Interventions may include facilitating group sessions with clients/carers, education of staff, meal support therapy and individual/family sessions.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide support and supervision to staff at Health Professional Level 1,2, Allied Health Assistants, students and undertake professional development, participate in quality initiatives and contribute to the multidisciplinary team processes. Additionally, the role is required to be available to work within all program areas of CAMHS, as service needs arise.
Health Professional Level 3 – Dietitian – Eating Disorders Residential Treatment Centre
EDRTC is seeking a dynamic and experienced dietitian to undertake the role EDRTC dietitian. Under the limited direction of Allied Health Team manager, the clinician undertakes clinical/nutritional assessment, care planning and provide evidence-based intervention to young people and adults with an eating disorder diagnosis. These interventions may include facilitating group sessions to client cohort, education sessions to staff, meal support therapy and individual/family sessions.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide support and supervision to staff at Health Professional Level 1,2, Allied Health Assistants, students and undertake professional development, participate in quality initiatives and contribute to the multidisciplinary team processes.
Additionally, the role is required to be available to work within all program areas of CAMHS, as service needs arise. This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week.
