Job Description
As Director of Talent and Culture, you will lead the HR function across both properties, partnering with the General Managers and leadership teams to deliver a strategic people plan that supports our business goals. You will drive initiatives in workforce planning, employee engagement, leadership capability, recruitment, training, diversity, reward and recognition, and industrial relations.
Your influence will shape a culture of excellence, foster high performance, and ensure our people feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Talent & Culture strategic plan aligned to business objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract top talent.
- Drive learning and development initiatives, including leadership capability and career pathways.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, including Indigenous engagement strategies.
- Manage performance review processes, reward and recognition programs, and succession planning.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, industrial relations, and compliance with HR legislation.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in people processes.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years in a Talent & Culture Manager role or prior experience as a Director of Talent & Culture.
- Strong knowledge of HR legislation, including the Fair Work Act, Awards, and employment instruments.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing HR best practice and change management initiatives.
- Experience in the hospitality, hotel, or retail sectors preferred.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for people and a drive to create a supportive, high-performing workplace culture.
