As a Disability Support Worker with Wise Healthcare, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or within a community setting.
- Assisting with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks.
- Promoting social engagement and participation in recreational and community activities.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure holistic care and support.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of the care provided and any developments or changes in the individual's condition.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in disability support work.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a relevant qualification.
- Experience with PEG feeding/crushing medications for high intensity clients.
- Experience with medical technology.
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility with work hours, including the potential for shift work and weekends.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
