The Role
We are seeking a support worker to assist people with disability in the Ararat area. The role focuses on community engagement, building confidence, and fostering independence through positive social and community experiences. This is a flexible, ongoing position for a few hours per week, designed to suit both the participant and the support worker.

About the Role
You will be supporting people with disability by:
- Facilitating access to community events and social outings
- Encouraging confidence, communication, and community participation
- Supporting engagement in activities that match individual interests
- Promoting independence and emotional well-being
- Communicating regularly with the Beyond Health Services team
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, reliable, and able to build rapport easily
- Passionate about inclusion and community involvement
- Able to maintain clear professional boundaries
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Previous experience in disability or community support is preferred but not required
NDIS Compliance Requirements
You must have or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- ABN (for contractors)
- Police Check
- Working with Children Check
