About the Role
In this hands-on, community-based role, you’ll support people with daily living activities and social participation all while building meaningful relationships and promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support with personal care, showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Assist with meal preparation, light cleaning, and household tasks
- Encourage and support social outings, community access, and companionship
- Report and document progress in a professional, timely manner
- Work alongside families, care coordinators, and allied health professionals
- Follow safety standards and NDIS practice guidelines at all times
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for reliable and compassionate individuals with the right qualifications and attitude. You must have:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services
- Experience supporting older people or people with disability
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Medication competency
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Induction Modules (can be completed online)
- Own reliable vehicle, valid driver’s licence, and comprehensive car insurance
- Full Australian working rights
- Minimum availability of 3 weekdays
