- About the Role:
As a Support Worker with Premier Care, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with complex needs in their homes and communities. You will work closely with clients to support their independence, wellbeing, and daily living needs, including those with physical and cognitive challenges.
Essential Criteria:
- Current full NSW Driver’s Licence
- Own reliable vehicle and mobile phone – ability to travel across Sydney
- Current First Aid Certificate
- NDIS worker Check and Working with Children Check (Mandatory)
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Care, Home and Community Care, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with clients from CALD backgrounds
- Experience working with clients with complex needs and challenging behaviours
- Bowel care and hoist experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Attributes:
- Willingness to undertake NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check (if not current)
- Energetic, empathetic, and positive attitude
- Strong initiative, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to the varying needs of clients
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices
- Speak other Languages
