The Role:
Highly skilled support workers required to assist 2:1 on a 24:7 based roster.
Experience in peg feeding, non verbal cues, manual handling, incontinence assistance and bowel care are required.
Shift times:
6 am - 2 pm ,2 pm - 10 pm ,active sleepover 10 pm - 6 am
Rates
- Day - $41.45 per hour
- Afternoon rate - $45.60 per hour
- Night rate- $ 46.42 per hour
- Saturday - $ 58.03 per hour
- Sunday - $ 74.61 per hour
Duties
- Assistance with high care personal cares, incontinence assistance, bowel theraphy
- Assistance with domestic tasks
- Manual handling such as transfers, hoisting and slide sheets
- Administering medication via peg
- Assisting with community access + health and rehab appointments
- Peg feeding assistance
Skills and experiences
- Australian Driver Licence
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged care
- Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Support Effective Communication Module
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
- Administer medication certificate
