Precious Angels In-Home Care is a Not-for-Profit Disability Support Service providing assistance to families with children, teenagers and young adults with disabilities. Our participants range from Mobile and Verbal (ASD/ADHD) to High Complex Care (nonverbal/non mobile, wheelchair bound).
We provide In-Home Care, Respite (Short Term Accommodation) and Community Access in the Brisbane Bayside Area (South Brisbane, East Brisbane, Logan, Cleveland)
We are looking for passionate, caring people who are available for Core Shifts:
· Before School (morning shifts 6am-9am) and After School (afternoons 2:30pm – 9pm) as well as weekends and overnights.
We have a need for flexible availability, sometimes at short notice.
Key Tasks:
· Being punctual for shifts
· Being well presented
· Communicating effectively with participants, parents, supervisors, and care givers
· Supporting participants to achieve NDIS Goals.
· Transporting participants
· Ensuring participants are well cared for during your shift (personal hygiene, meals etc.)
· Making common sense decisions
· Reporting back to management and parents
· Completing participant reports each shift.
· Being flexible with changing work hours/roster
Skills and experience required:
· Extremely high level of English communication skills is required as you will be working day to day with disabled and intellectually impaired participants.
· Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
· Complete or working towards Cert 3 in Individual Support (Disability)
· Support work experience is beneficial but not required.
· QLD Driver’s licence and reliable, insured car
· Blue and Yellow Cards (NDIS Worker Screening Clearance)
· First Aid and CPR Certification
Successful applicants will be employed under the SCHADS Award (Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010)

Pay: $27.15 – $47.16 per hour
