About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Doctor to support our Queensland clinics via telehealth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultations to eligible clients, developing health care plans and treatments that address patient symptoms and illnesses. This may include prescribing appropriate natural medicines to patients or referring them for further diagnosis to ensure their overall health and wellness is cared for.
Responsibilities:
- Developing treatment plans and monitoring patient progress
- Prescribing medications and treatments
- Providing patient education and counselling on health and wellness
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participating in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current General Registration with APHRA
- Strong knowledge of medical practices, procedures, and terminology
- Familiarity or interest in natural medicines and cannabinoid products
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Admittance to the Authorised Prescriber Scheme, or willingness to pursue
