More than just a childcare centre, our goal is to ensure that we are hiring qualified and dedicated Teachers and Educators to join our fantastic team. We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator for The Inclusion Support Program to work at our centre in Wheeler Heights, NSW.
The Inclusion Support Program assists education and care services to provide and embed quality inclusive practices into their delivery of early learning programs for all children, to address access and participation barriers and to support the inclusion of children with additional needs, with their typically developing peers.
We have a part-time position available - Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day (9am to 2pm, subject to change) - initially starting with a 12-month contract.
As an Early Childhood Educator, your core responsibilities will be to:
- Plan, supervise and implement the program for the class in accordance with the policies,
- Understand the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a focus to provide an excellent level of education and care to the children at the centre-based service
- Establish and maintain team relationships with other early childhood educators
- Build fantastic rapport and incorporate a strong home-school partnership program with the parents
What we are looking for
- A completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Current/Valid Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certificates
- The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative and focused team.
