About Northern Health:
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic EMR Analyst to join the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) team at Northern Health.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A tertiary degree in healthcare, eHealth/Digital Health or science related field.
- Knowledge of computerised workflows, best practise, innovation, clinical documentation and healthcare informatics
- Knowledge of and experience with the Cerner EMR implementations and EMR BAU continuation activities.
- High computer literacy skills and possessed wealth experience of using applications in healthcare settings.
- Proficient in using common business analysis software such as Microsoft Office Applications, such as Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook.
- A tertiary degree in healthcare, eHealth/Digital Health or science related field.
- Aptitude to learn quickly and apply knowledge across different contexts
- Critical thinking, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate and understand issues along with their clinical implications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and triage defects during the testing processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders within the organisation with an eye for detail
- Demonstrated experience working in a tertiary hospital environment and understanding of clinical workflows in the acute and subacute inpatient settings
