About the Role
As the Administration Officer, you will contribute to the day-to-day management of support staff within the school or college.
Experience that is highly regarded for this position includes:
Experience working in a school environment
Familiarity with ID Attend, OneSchool, and Microsoft Teams
Strong skills in multitasking and prioritising tasks within tight timeframes
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating a high level of initiative
A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
This role is a temporary part-time role, working 60 hours per fortnight at 0.83 FTE, until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.
Your Responsibilities
As the Administration Officer, your opportunities and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Acting as the first point of contact for all external visitors, parents, and community members.
Delivering outstanding customer service, including answering phones, managing email communications, and liaising with parents and community stakeholders.
Updating OneSchool and QParents as required.
Performing basic attendance data entry using ID Attend.
Processing and validating initial enrolment paperwork and enquiries.
Managing termination of enrolments efficiently.
Validating mandatory requirements for visitors and volunteers, including blue cards, key messages guides, and WAAPs.
Providing backup support for other administration roles such as student counters and additional front office duties.
