Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring for an Event Operations Coordinator to join our Precinct and Partner Activations teams to deliver the Australian Open 2026. This is a full-time fixed-term contract from November to February 2026.

About the role
The Product Operations Coordinator position is responsible for the coordination of the Australian Open Precinct Product Activations, supporting both the Precinct and Partner Activation streams.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating partner and precinct activations, including compliance documentation, WHS processes, scheduling, bump-in/out, and on-site supplier and contractor management.
- Managing logistics such as deliveries, equipment, crew, accreditation, and warehouse inventory to ensure smooth event operations.
- Monitoring and reporting on project status, budgets, invoices, compliance records, and post-event evaluations.
- Building strong relationships and acting as a key point of contact for internal teams, partners, contractors, and external agencies.
- Delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget, with strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in event operations, including OHS, logistics, production, theming, partner activations, and brand execution within a major event environment.
- Strong technical and administrative skills, including the ability to read build drawings, manage budgets and timelines, and produce high-quality spreadsheets, schedules, and presentations using Microsoft Office and project software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail, the ability to multi-task under pressure, and a professional, solution-focused attitude.
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
