At JLL, we're seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of comprehensive facilities management services for our clients. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring optimal building performance, occupant satisfaction, and operational excellence across managed properties. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead facilities management operations including maintenance, security, cleaning, and other essential services to ensure safe, functional, and efficient environments
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, reporting, and proactive issue resolution
- Manage facilities staff and service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts, service level agreements, and performance standards
- Oversee the facilities budget, including forecasting, cost control, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance and occupant wellbeing
- Direct maintenance programs for building systems and equipment to optimize performance and extend useful life
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, reduce costs, or improve sustainability performance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management
- Demonstrated knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and industry standards
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and service providers
- Excellent financial management abilities including budgeting and cost control
- Proven track record of successful client relationship management
- Experience with CAFM/CMMS systems and facilities management software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in Facilities Management (CFM, FMP, or equivalent)
- Experience managing multiple property types or complex facilities
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management in building operations
- Background in project management with relevant certifications (PMP or equivalent)
- Experience with capital planning and management of improvement projects
- Understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making
