Fixed term contract until 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension

37.5 hours/week

Your Impact

As the FSS Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide clinical supervision and leadership to a dedicated team of Family Support Workers
  • Guide child-safe, family-led support strategies using Signs of Safety and Safe & Together frameworks
  • Champion cultural safety and trauma-informed practice in every aspect of the program
  • Build partnerships that strengthen Aboriginal families and reduce statutory involvement
  • Walk beside families to build life skills, parenting confidence, and safe home environments

You’ll Bring

A degree in Social Work (eligible for AASW membership & clinical supervision)

  • Deep understanding of the systemic challenges facing Aboriginal families
  • Proven experience in complex case management with a strengths-based, culturally safe approach
  • Leadership skills that empower staff and build collaborative team culture
  • Commitment to ethical, confidential, and accountable practice
  • Familiarity with the child protection system and NT-specific legislation

Location: Based in Yarrawonga, supporting families across the Greater Darwin Region.
