About the Role:

As the Residential Care Coordinator, you will provide operational leadership across our Out of Home Care (OOHC) services in the ACT. You’ll ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standard, contractual requirements while embedding the Sanctuary Model and MacKillop’s values into everyday practice. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of residential homes, supporting House Supervisors and Therapeutic Youth Workers, and ensuring high quality therapeutic care for children and young people. You’ll also manage administrative systems, recruitment, rostering, and property maintenance, while liaising with key stakeholders to ensure the best practice outcomes.

About You:

You are a compassionate and experienced leader with a strong understanding of trauma informed care and child protection frameworks. You thrive in dynamic environments, are confident in managing teams, and have a passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people. Your communication and conflict resolution skills are exceptional, and you’re committed to continuous improvement and professional development.

This is Full Time opportunity based in Belconnen, ACT within our ACT Out of Home Care program. This role reports to the ACT Regional Manager.
