What you'll be doing
Join our dynamic team as a Finance Administration Support your key focus will be in supporting the financial operations team of Western Sydney Local Health District by providing vital admin services in a dynamic and confidential environment.
In this role you will be:
- Delivering administration support across teams under the Executive Director of Finance.
- Assisting Financial & Management Accounting, Revenue, and related units.
- Supporting Costing, Coding, Performance & Health Information services.
- Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance.
- Ensuring compliance with NSW Health policies and procedures.

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level executive support within a complex demanding team environment including a proven capacity to operate effectively in an electronic environment.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to prepare and review complex correspondence within a senior executive environment, and advice to internal and external clients.
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft suite of office products, experience in Oracle, staff link, ROB and an electronic management system, such as TRIM/HPECM.
- Basic functional accounting and analysis skills.
- Demonstrated organisational / time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, problem solve, prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidentiality, to interpret complex information and advice and use discretion in knowing when to escalate matters of importance and/or urgency.
- Ability to work independently and conscientiously
