We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced banking professional to step into a Team Leader role within our Lending Services Administration team, covering parental leave.
Reporting to the Administration Manager – Lending Services, you will oversee the day-to-day management of IMB borrower account administration and be the first point of contact for branches, lending managers, and members regarding lending-related enquiries and processes.
You’ll bring your leadership skills and retail/commercial banking experience to guide a dedicated team, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery across a wide range of lending administration functions including mortgage accounts, securities, and settlements.
The Role
- Lead and support Lending Services teams to meet service level agreements and business goals
- Allocate and monitor daily workloads including post-settlement mortgage tasks, loan switches, redraws, and discharges
- Provide internal support across IMB’s retail branch network and liaise with third parties including legal representatives
- Ensure secure management of documents and compliance with all policies and procedures
- Maintain key reports, procedures, and contribute to process improvements
- Mentor and supervise staff, helping to foster skill development and meet performance objectives.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in banking administration and loan processing
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
- Proficient with MS Office and general digital systems
- Experience with PEXA settlements
- Passionate about continuous improvement and team development.
