Your Role in Action
- Maintain and evolve key financial reports that clearly capture business performance, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timeliness.
- Develop robust long-range forecasts and budgets that influence strategic planning and shape Western Power’s financial future.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights and guidance that drive smarter, faster commercial decisions.
- Analyse management reports and performance drivers to uncover the “why” behind variances and highlight actionable opportunities.
- Deliver comprehensive financial support across departments - from forecasting and budgeting to ad hoc analysis and strategic modelling.
- Uphold the integrity and consistency of reporting processes, ensuring strong controls, clean data, and on-time delivery every time.
- Leverage detailed reporting frameworks to continuously assess, track, and improve financial performance across the business.
- Champion efficiency and accuracy, identifying cost-saving opportunities and automating reporting processes wherever possible.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience in commercial finance in a Management Accounting role - you’ve worked across accounting, reporting, or financial analysis (and know how to deliver value!)
- Data storyteller - you don’t just crunch numbers; you translate them into clear, compelling business insights.
- Skilled at simplifying the complex - your written work makes financial concepts easy for everyone to understand.
- Analytically sharp - you gather insights from multiple sources and turn them into confident, evidence-based decisions.
