Remuneration Range: $70,000 to $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation

About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Controller to oversee the coordination and performance of our fleet operations. Based in Bairnsdale, Victoria and reporting to the Fleet Operations and Asset Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring our vehicles, drivers, and logistics systems run smoothly and efficiently.

What We Need
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience in transport coordination or fleet management You know how to juggle schedules, routes, and resources to keep operations running smoothly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills You’ll be liaising with external customers, drivers, site managers, and internal teams — clarity and confidence are key.
- Problem-solving mindset When plans change, you adapt quickly and find practical solutions without missing a beat.
- Ability to problem solve on the fly. You are able to change freight plans at a moment's notice, with a strong emphasis on reducing demurrage and ghost tonnage.
- Attention to detail and time management You’re across the little things that make a big difference — from compliance checks to delivery windows.
- Tech-savvy approach Familiarity with transport management systems, strongly proficient in the use of Microsoft excel and basic Microsoft Office tools will help you hit the ground running.
- A commitment to safety and efficiency You understand the importance of compliance, fatigue management, and keeping our fleet moving safely.
