Your new role
As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in driving smooth daily operations by managing the scheduling and coordination of depot activities related to our customers’ products and equipment.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of customer product
through ensuring employees are adequately trained on
machinery and vehicles e.g. articulator tractors, combines,
trucks, forklifts, cranes, etc. - Check that all workplace inspections are conducted and
are compliant - Ensure all work is carried out accurately and to a standard
that meets or exceeds our customer’s expectations. - Quality KPI target met
- Monitor inbound and outbound products to ensure that
customer requirements are met - Ensuring that all relevant documentation (wharf/second
survey & outbound) is prepared and processed correctly - Update current business systems accurately and in a time
frame that meets or exceeds internal and customer key
performance indicators (KPIs). - Ensure that AQIS (Australian Quarantine) documentation
and bookings are made as and when required - Request team leaders to carry out the work request
- Update the relevant systems to include process status &
invoicing - An ability to accurately complete updates and data entry
into the company’s & customer’s business management
systems and accurately manage in-house records and
customer documentation
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in a similar position within the
industry - Technical Competencies Required Level
- Operations Coordinator Experience
- Competent Level of computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel) Highly
Developed - Time Management Skills Highly Developed
- Technical Knowledge and Understanding of processes involved in
building/preparing of relevant product/s Highly Developed - Influencing skills and interfacing with senior members of the
business. - Ability to coordinate with stakeholders to ensure KPI’s met
- Excellent customer service and data entry skills
- Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a
positive work environment. - Demonstrated commitment to ethical behavior.
- Demonstrates appropriate cultural awareness.
- Excellent consulting skills.
