In this Full Time in house 12-month maximum term contract opportunity, you’ll transform designer vision into reality; crafting patterns, refining fits, and ensuring every gown meets the exceptional quality and design standards our brides around the world adore.
What you’ll do:
- Translating design visions into flawless patterns and technical packs
- Create accurate patterns, graded specs, and POMs for production.
- Develop bespoke patterns and Made-to-Order variations.
- Update existing patterns and specifications to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilise Style CAD software for pattern creation, grading, and motif/lace placement.
- Finessing fits and finishes so each gown feels as good as it looks
- Driving innovation in quality, sustainability, and process improvement
- Manage fit sessions and recommend amendments for quality, fit, and efficiency
- Partner with our in-house design team, cutting, sewing, and wider production teams to ensure flawless construction
- Provide technical documentation and clear communication to offsite suppliers & in-house teams
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, sustainability, and production processes
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in bridal or eveningwear garment construction
- Strong technical expertise in pattern making, grading, and fit
- Strong proficiency with Style CAD, Adobe Illustrator, and garment tech processes (creating tech packs)
- Deep knowledge of lace, silk, crepe, satin, and stretch fabrics
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong technical background in garment construction, pattern making, and grading.
- Knowledge of lace, crepe, satin, silk and stretch fabrics.
- Understanding of global quality standards and legal labelling requirements.
- Excellent draping, fitting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and process adherence.
- Collaborative team player with confident decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and NetSuite (or similar). Qualification in Design or Pattern Making is advantageous
