About this Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grants and Revenue Coordinator, known internally as our Grants and Revenue Officer. This role is pivotal in leading the management and administration of Council's diverse revenue streams, including grants funding, fees and charges, and other income-generating opportunities. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will drive strategic grant applications, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support Council's long-term financial sustainability.

What we trust you to deliver:
- Be the driving force behind external funding success - Lead the identification, acquisition, and management of grant funding that enables Council’s strategic projects and essential services. Champion a proactive and coordinated approach to external income generation across the organisation.
- Turn Strategy into Sustainable Revenue - Collaborate with teams across Council to identify funding opportunities, assess business cases, and provide financial leadership from application through to acquittal. Ensure funding is aligned with community outcomes and managed with transparency and impact.
- Take ownership of Council’s Grants & Revenue Intelligence - Manage the centralised grants register, deliver accurate forecasting and reporting, and become the trusted authority for all non-rates revenue data across Council.
- Drive financial performance and insight - Support liquidity, compliance, and financial planning with high-quality, actionable insights—strengthening Council’s ability to advocate for and act on strategic opportunities.

What you will need to be successful:
- Relevant bachelor's degree
- Class C drivers licence
- Experience in a previous business development role or Grants funding experience highly desirable
- Proven stakeholder management and a Strategic thinker
- Membership of a relevant professional institute (e.g. CPA, CA, IPA or equivalent)
Full position description:
Full Time: 70 hours a fortnight
