About the Role
In this exciting full-time position, you’ll bring the JD Lighting brand to life through graphic design and social media content. You’ll be responsible for creating website banners, promotional graphics, EDM visuals, catalogues, product packaging, and more—while also planning and producing photo and video content for our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
This role is perfect for a designer with strong creative instincts and a flair for visual storytelling who’s equally comfortable behind the camera and in front of design software.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
- Design website banners, homepage features, promo tiles, and landing page visuals
- Create engaging marketing assets for emails, paid ads, promotions, and printed catalogues
- Design product packaging, labels, point-of-sale materials, and store signage
- Collaborate with the ecommerce and marketing team on campaign design direction
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print content
Social Media Content Creation
- Plan and produce visual content (photos, videos, reels) for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & LinkedIn
- Shoot in-store, product, and lifestyle content regularly to support campaigns
- Edit and repurpose content for various formats (Stories, Reels, Carousels, Ads, etc.)
- Help build and maintain a consistent visual identity across all social platforms
- Stay up to date on social trends and recommend new content ideas
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in graphic design and content creation (retail or product-focused a bonus)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro preferred)
- Strong visual storytelling and layout design skills
- Confident with photography and videography—shooting, editing, and publishing
- Knowledge of social media platforms and what performs best on each one
- Great time management and the ability to manage multiple projects
- A creative thinker who brings fresh ideas to the table and is proactive in execution
- Experience with ecommerce or product-focused brands is highly regarded
