We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Groundsman to join our team.
As one of our Groundsmen, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetics and functionality of the school, contributing to a welcoming and well-kept environment for everyone.
This position is permanent, full-time.
Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will have
- a Queensland Positive Notice Working with Children Blue Card, or have the ability to obtain, before commencing work
- a Queensland Drivers Licence (P or Open)
- a White Card
- previous experience working in schools (preferred)
- the ability to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith
- the ability to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
- the ability to work with all members of the College community.
- a willingness to assist in College events after normal working hours (eg, Open night, family BBQ’s etc).
- the right to work in Australia, without needing sponsorship.
