We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead our FP&A function. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and in-depth financial analysis to support data-driven decision-making and accelerate business growth.
As a senior finance leader, you will bring both deep analytical expertise and strong leadership capabilities, acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and cross-functional teams. Your work will be critical in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring alignment between financial goals and company objectives.
In terms of finer detail, in this key role you will:
Lead the end-to-end financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial modelling.
Provide business partnering support to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics aligned with corporate goals.
Lead the pricing and estimating team and process.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership, investors and stakeholders.
Support the transformation of the FP&A function including the design, development and implementation of systems, reports, processes and analysis, as well as support the transition of intra-function responsibilities.
Manage and mentor a team, fostering professional development and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
With regards to location, we are flexible to consider applicants from Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne or Brisbane.
As an ideal candidate, you will present with:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, CA, or CFA accreditation preferred.
Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Proven track record in a leadership or senior analyst role, ideally within a corporate or consulting environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams through change.
Ability to development and/or manage of complex financial models.
Strong proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Advanced skills in Excel and financial software (Oracle highly desirable).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
