About the Role:

Are you passionate about health information management and ready to make a meaningful impact on patient care? The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Health Information Management (HIM) Officer to join our dynamic team.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

Reporting to the Health Information Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting health information management activities across NALHN. This exciting position offers the opportunity to:

  • provide expert health information management advice for strategic initiatives, projects, policies and data management
  • lead comprehensive health information management reviews and projects, with particular focus on medical record forms and Sunrise Electronic Medical Record patient data quality, especially scanned documents
  • coordinate and oversee the development and review of health information management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards and best practice requirements
  • design and deliver professional development strategies for health information and administrative staff
