ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will contribute to the organisational objectives of Council by providing learning and development support services, in addition to providing administration support to the Human Resources Coordinator and other staff within the business unit.
Employment Status: Full Time, Permanent
Award: Level 3 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award – State 2017
Salary Range: $84,359.00 to $88,752.00 per annum
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
| Essential Knowledge, skills and abilities |
- Well-developed clerical, administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage, determine work priorities, meet deadlines and workflows, utilising a high level of initiative.
- Well-developed computer skills and the ability to learn relevant business systems/processes
- Demonstrated background and experience within a human resources role.
- Demonstrated capability to facilitate basic learning and development activities.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including a high level of verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to liaise with a wide range of people. Ability to gain credibility, partner with and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to exercise judgement and initiative where procedures are not clearly defined.
| Essential Education/Qualifications |
- Certificate III Business Administration (or similar) and/or equivalent experience.
| Essential Licences |
- Possession and maintenance of a current Queensland ‘C’ Class Driver Licence.
