The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to step into a HR Advisor role as part of a temporary maternity leave cover. This role is responsible for the administration and coordination of all HR, recruiting, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) activities. In addition, the role also provides advisory support to our employees, helping to foster a positive work environment. The primary focus is on day-to-day HR operations and managing people processes.

Responsibilities:
What we are looking for
- Proven experience and a passion for administration and coordination across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, training initiatives, payroll, employee retention, and separations.
- Extensive recruitment experience including phone screening, interviewing, coordinating video and on-site interviews, coordinating candidates and recruitment process through the applicant tracking system.
- Proven ability to build relationships and provide advice to employees on HR processes, procedures, policies and general queries.
- Demonstrated capability in professional writing (job ads, job descriptions, employment correspondence, polices, guidelines, reports).
- Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and award interpretation including established research skills and analysing information.
Skills and experience
To be a successful candidate for this position you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field.
- Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (desirable).
- AHRI or affiliate professional membership desirable.
- 5+ years experience in a generalist HR role
- Deep knowledge of HR practices, Fair Work Legislation and employment obligations
- Proficiency in HR systems and software.
- Customer service driven with professional presence and demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to interact, influence and support employees at all levels.
- People focused and enthusiastic about company culture and core values.
- Mature, organised and discreet.
- Strong task management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Ability to connect with and motivate people.
- Ability and willingness to occasionally work hours outside of the primary working hours to facilitate business with our global teams.
